WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

WELCOME

We are the leading independent technology advisor to mid-market accountancy firms in the UK, as well as firms in North America and across Europe. We also advise many law firms, and seven of the largest global accountancy associations.

We comprise a team of very experienced Associates covering a broad range of disciplines, every one of whom has spent time in a variety of businesses and practices at a senior level before joining us.

When you engage us, we will review your situation, then use our insight and experience to set out a roadmap of projects and activities to meet your commercial goals. If needed we will provide you with resource and assistance to deliver change and make progress.

In addition to our considerable experience and expertise, what makes us special is our fierce independence. We do not accept any margin or incentives from vendors. We work solely for you, our clients.

OUR APPROACH

The roundel shows the areas where technology should work in harmony across the firm, and below we explain our approach to helping you achieve real change.

REVIEW

For each area, across the firm, we assess the state of play and award a score. We compare this to equivalent firms as well so that you can understand your relative position.

PRIORITISE

Next, for each area, we determine what improvements need to be made and by when. We agree with you what weighting to give each area.

PLAN

We set out the resources (internal and external) and budget you will need, and a timeline for delivery. The Improvement Plan is measured in six-monthly intervals over two years.

We oversee delivery of the Improvement Plan, continuously monitoring achievements and adjusting the plan as needed.

“What about our internal teams?” We always work with internal teams, not against them. We bridge the gaps that can exist between professional, technical and executive teams. We provide clarity and facilitate co-operation, and encourage absolute transparency and accountability.

REVIEW AREAS

A look at our typical Review Areas in more detail. Our Improvement Plan will address each of these areas, eliminating weaknesses and ensuring progress in those areas that best support your commercial goals.
